Our innovative top product

Our ZD series is made of 100% stainless steel. Thanks to innovative and technologically sophisticated processes, we are able to completely dispense with the use of non-ferrous metals.

The devices in the ZD series have been specially developed for applications that work with highly corrosive media such as ammonia, AdBlue, silicone oils, strong acids and bases.

ZD appliances can withstand high operating pressures and are more durable than nickel-brazed heat exchangers. Another advantage of our ZD appliances over nickel-brazed heat exchangers is that they can be used in drinking water applications.
We also offer the ZD series in various designs.

  •  H-plate - angled embossing for very high heat transfer performance
  •  L-plate - angled embossing for high heat transfer performance with low pressure loss
  •  P-plate - innovative plate design, especially for improved evaporation performance

In close consultation with our customers, they are designed and optimized according to the application and the associated requirements.

  • Pressures: from 0 to max. 40 bar, higher pressures on request
  • Temperatures: from -200°C to +200°C, temperatures up to 350°C possible
  • Plate material: Stainless steel 1.4404
  • Spigot material: Stainless steel 1.4301 and 1.4404
  • Solder material: Stainless steel

K2 Corrosion protection

We now offer a K2 internal corrosion protection coating for all our plate heat exchangers.

This makes it possible to use our heat exchangers even with water constituents outside the limit range (hardness, pH value and conductivity).

With a layer thickness of approx. 0.05 mm, the coating is very thin and only minimally impairs heat transfer. The process developed by TTZ GmbH & Co. KG ensures that the entire surface of the heat exchanger is safely coated.

The coating can be applied to all circles and is resistant up to 200°C.
